Mohan and all: Good information and your point is valid. US policy for Asia has gone haywire. It is preposterous to support a communist Chinese regime that is aspiring to get Taiwan by force and is forcibly occupying Tibet and parts of India. Chinese dictators can be a nightmare for the world. In fact, the MFN status should be discontinued immediately to prevent China from having an unfair advantage in its trade with the US and the resources for military buildup. My prediction is that US will soon moderate its cozy relationship with China. Rational
