From the same Barron's article..

read following lines also...

Force: We have this silly discipline - we only want
to own companies with revenues and earnings. Most of these don't
have either. We'll buy some things that other people think are
overvalued, like Ascend - the equipment play is so clear. But
I don't know who the content providers are going to be at the
end of the day. I don't know which Internet service providers
will be there. And it's not clear who the electronic commerce
winners will be.

Force: Hard to pick just one. I could talk about data
networking. The July clearance sale allowed us to pick up Ascend
Communciations and
Cisco Systems is our second-largest holding. 3Com recently became
a top 10 holding - a few weeks ago, it indicated that its gross
margins are moving higher.

>Morris: Cisco and 3Com remain core holdings, and we
own a lot of others. The combination of client/server computing,
remote access and Internet-based standards just suck up bandwidth.
Five years ago, people used their PCs mostly for spreadsheets,
word processing and occasionally databases. Now most people access
stuff that doesn't reside on their own computers. There used to
be an 80/20 rule, 80% of what you did with your PC involved information
inside the enterprise, 20% outside. That's flipping, which is
great for Ascend, Fore, Cisco, 3Com
