That packaging issue is a conundrum. Like you, I figured the software was going to be sold straight over the net with little or no packaging detail. I asked about that back in April. The shills said that the software was "nearly ready" and Cashco was waiting for packaging and other distribution details. If that's the case, jhild's numbers are accurate. I've been involved in the production, programming, and replication details for a number of commercially available discs from Apple, Amdahl, Solid State Logic, and a host of others. Jhild's numbers are right on target and accurate for a production run allowing 2 weeks for printed materials and a week for disc replication.
Then again, the shills also said that the software was just going to be sold directly online. Well heck, setting up an e-commerce system maybe challenging but not months of involved labor, so who knows what's really going to happen.
Either way, since details are not available for this issue, jhild was being rightly cautious about possible costs. No reason to get upset.
