Saw the news that Pac Bell will roll out adsl in 8/98 for 60 markets in Ca. Are they using TI chips?

That's hard to say. If they use ALA, it won't be TI's chips, however, if they have trouble (as rumored in Singapore), they may come knocking. Besides Ericsson and Siemens, I know there is a long list of other vendors talking about using the C6x. It'll be a few months before who does what shakes out.

Aside- does Del Mar race tract still play Bing Crosby at the beginning of the day?

I honestly don't know. I'm close enough to hear the screams when the fair's on and kids are being scared within an inch of their lives on the rollercoaster. And if the wind's just right, I can hear the roars at the end of a close race.

I'd prefer Bing. :))

The last few days have been stop-your-heart beautiful. Monday it rained and since then the sky's been clear and the ocean so blue an artist would be embarrassed to paint it that way.
