Agreed, but how many times have you or I overlooked the obvious?

Agreed, falling pc prices and the high cost of Y2K compliance may actually prove to be a boon to box makers as companies would rather accelerate their upgrade/replacement cycle for their pc's rather than hire an outside contractor to Y2K proof their mission critical pc's. I know of two law firms that are doing just that.
