I agree that Beacon is multi-step but the points of concern are that it is saliva based and they have already started selling it in targeted markets, hence the need for triby to be on their toes. Being able to do the test in 8 minutes (one step) against 15 minutes (multi-step) may not be of great consequence to individuals (who form the OTC market) if the multi-step test has already established itself, unless the one-step test is relatively inexpensive. I would not ward this off as "not being competition" that easily. Any idea on Beacon price? M. Carter
