I still think ODIS is strong longterm, but it is equally clear that we're a dog at the moment.

Motley Fool's Wednesday portfolio report mentioned the idea that revolutionary technologies take as long to go from 0% to 10% market penetration, as to go from 10% to 90%. By no means a proven theory, but I think relational databases diffused that way, and my expectation is that ODBMS will also.

In particular, Poet is coming on strong as of late. Their new release is pretty good and has some advantages over ObjectStore.

I'd be really interested to hear more about this.
