Emergent Technologies and Northrop Grumman to Jointly Develop Advanced Antenna Systems
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Emergent Technologies Corporation, a subsidiary of Integral Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ITKG - news) and Northrop Grumman Corporation [NYSE:NOC - news] have announced that they have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly develop and manufacture advanced communications antenna systems for Department of Defense customers.

Emergent will provide for the design, development, and production of its Contrawound Toroidal Helical Antenna (CTHA) antenna. Northrop Grumman, through its Electronic Sensors and Systems Division in Linthicum, Maryland, will provide the matching networks, physical integration, and assembly and packing of the final units.

Integral president Mark Williams said, ''We are enthusiastic about the MOU with Northrop Grumman. This is an important, positive step in moving the CTHA technology out of the lab and into the market. Antenna like the CTHA require agile matching networks and Northrop Grumman is one of the world's best developers of matching networks for radio systems.''
