Actually, the OEM business (HP, CPQ, etc.) only accounts for 27% of S3 revenue.

I'm not sure how big an outfit Hercules is. FWIW here's their website: hercules.com It doesn't appear to be a publicly traded company, so finding revenue figures might be difficult. I'll poke around to see if I can find anything interesting.

I do find it encouraging that S3 is getting the new chip into production and picking up design wins this quickly. I really wasn't expecting to start seeing design win type announcements on the Savage 3D until July or so. My impression is that they may be getting up to production volume faster than expected. I know Wall Street likes to see the, "IBM put a S3 chip in their new computer." fluff, but with back end loaded quarters, getting into volume production is a big deal right now. Other design wins will follow if they have a product to sell.
