Thomas,
I got this clip from the Stocksite.com website. It's out of Bill Fleckenstein's nightly column.

I wish I could find more information on the European Union's exposure to East Europe and the Asian Tigers. For some reason, it's not talked about much. Maybe EU exposure isn't that great in either of the troubled regions?

Also, since you live in the heart of Europe, have you been getting the general feeling the author states, about Europe getting "weak?"
Thanks,
MikeM(From Florida)

>>Now we're starting to see Europe slowing down, the strong sterling and weak emerging markets have really hurt UK exports. Even though Europe remained strong for a while, it has much more direct exposure to Southeast Asia than we do, especially in the financial area. So what's happening now is what we've been talking about in the Rap. The Asian problems will hit the continent directly, and Europe will slow down dramatically about the same time we do. We're beginning to see in some of the company commentaries that suddenly, Europe, which was supposedly strong, is now weak. Many negatives are starting to come together.<<
