Pat,
Ditto on the car sector. Everyone is after the service thing that Lexus started here. I like it...but I hate it when I have to tell them what they did or didn't to my car. I know my cars and some dealers are pathetic trying to push the service thing. They don't know what real service is.

The most disturbing trend for the big 3 is the used car market. Most cars today will last 100K with not much problem and the used market is HUGE. Why pay 32K for a new Licoln Navigator, when you can find one at an auction or paper with 10K miles and save $10K...hell its just broken it!!!

I think Wayne H. is on the right track with his chain of super/resale stores. Even Saturn is getting into the resale biz...around here they have 2 or 3 USED car centers right next door to the no haggle Newbie stuff.

Number wise I'm on my 5th car,...not counting 2 that only went to the track. 46??? hummmm...sounds like you need a discount car broker!!!
