Lupins,

I don't want to belabor the point, but all I am saying (as Mark pointed out) is that I believe Lizard Lick and Trendsetter are/is the same poster.

Take a look at activity on DIS, GRLL, SEVL and other threads. Here is an example from the Disney thread (notice the gap -- post 604 responds to post 568 -- what a coincidence that May 11 is Trendsetter's first day as a SI member and he immediately takes a liking to an older Lizard Lick post):

Could make sense, you should call disney to see if they will give you any beef on sevl, nothing announced as of friday, lets see what this week brings . I saw their agent 7 character animation beta release this week on their web site, its pretty awsome, but whether disney is setting up an online site for their famous animated characters, i have no idea , CALL them.

Now, it look likes Trendsetter became a member May 11, 1998. So either Lizard Lick paid for a second id (not likely) or is taking advantage of the thirty day trial. If the latter, trendsetter will stop posting after Jun 11, 1998.

I don't think this is a professional, just someone trying to hype his/her own stocks, so the stocks can be sold for a gain.

Now, for the most part, people hyping stocks are just wasting their time -- for the effect on the stock is usually not measurable. But, in the case of stocks that trade only a few thousand shares a day, hype, if done to a large enough (and gullible) audience (like newsletter subscribers) can move a stock up or down.

Such hype as Lizard Lick offers may raise a red flag and cause people to sell -- because the hype is so obvious.

Certainly, it is not likely to move stocks like DIS or GRLL or even SEVL, but it could cause holders of less traded issues to sell or a few un-informed individuals to buy something that is not for them.

I think one of our purposes on earth is to help others, not try to take advantage of others, and so my dislike for LIZARD LICK/TRENDSETTER's behavior on this thread.
