DATE/TIME June 29, 1998 8:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. CHAIR David Wanetick Author of Bound for Growth: How to Pick Winning Stocks Using Industry Analysis
General Information
Do you realize the potential that environmental services industry securities offer investors?
While trash collection is only growing by about 3% a year, some players have been able to increase their profits by 50% a year or more. There is still plenty of room for consolidation as $19 billion of the $35 billion solid waste industry is still in the hands of privately owned companies.
According to testimony to the EPA, the nation will have to spend over $250 billion during the next 20 years to insure that its water supply is safe, and to handle waste water.
Hazardous waste companies are likely to be prime beneficiaries of the Department of Defense awarding remediation contracts for converting military bases into civilian uses.
This conference provides a forum for discovering the companies that are positioned to take advantage of these long-lasting developments.
