I must have missed that one...I didn't hear any christians say anything about civic duty. But then, if careful reading, contemplation of the issues, and composition of responses were the vogue, this discussion would have ended long ago. My spine is chilled, too, but for different reasons.

So, although this is hopefully a dead issue now, we being what we are, I'm pretty sure wildfires of stupidity, hate-mongering, insensitivity, and intolerance will continue to pop up frequently in many venues.
