Ericsson mum on Bay rumor By Reuters, Special to C\|NET - May 29, 1998, 6:45 a.m. PT STOCKHOLM--Swedish telecom group Ericsson declined to comment on a recurring rumor that it was interested in buying Bay Networks, which rose amid speculation it was the target of a takeover.
