MGI's Award Winning PC Photography Program Included in Xerox' Newest Scanning Software Suite Pagis Pro 2.0
TORONTO, Ont. - May 29, 1998 - MGI Software Corp. (TSE:MGI), the leader in PC photography and video publishing software, today announced that ScanSoft Inc., a division of Xerox Corporation (NYSE:XRX), has signed a worldwide licensing agreement to bundle MGI PhotoSuite with Pagis Pro 2.0, the newest version of ScanSoft's full-featured document management software.
Designed for Microsoft Windows 95, NT and Windows 98, Pagis Pro 2.0 builds on the success of the award-winning Pagis Pro 97, to bring a comprehensive scanning solution to small office, home office, and professional users. Pagis Pro 2.0 offers professional-level OCR, document imaging, one-button color copying and now photo editing.

The award was announced in the Personal Computer Buying Guide section in the April issue of Consumers Digest.
