Two and a half years is an interesting time frame.

It's been almost 2 1/2 years since Allen's opening post in which he asks if anyone has calculated the impact of I2O royalties.

Extrapolating from the last conference call, it appears that I2O royalties will approximate earlier predictions (7 to 10 million units over two years). They will simply start six months later than previously thought.

Is a lag time of three years between important design wins and royalties usual? If so, what wins in the last three years might eventuate unit volumes greater than, say, 500,000/year in the next three years?

Any speculations?
