EVERY RUSSIAN TO GET ID NUMBER Each Russian citizen, from pensioners to newly-borns, may soon get an identification number which will be used by social security bodies, tax authorities and in census work, ITAR-TASS reported early Friday morning. The prospects of the unified identification system are being discussed by representatives of ministries and lawmakers in Moscow. Many agree that such an identification system will help restore order in financial and banking spheres, others argued that it may lead to infringements on private life. I'm sure this will solve everything!
