Rick: in Germany, where I lived for a few years, you were pro BMW or pro Daimler, one or the other. Porsche was considered beyond good and evil. I had a BMW 320i, as cars go, the love of my life. I was able to drive a Porsche 944 once. You don't sit in those cars, you kind of lie in them, with your arse kind of "against the floor". I clocked 240 Kms (150 miles) like nothing. New Cars: there is a new Alfa Romeo with a revolutionary system for the diesel injection.
