Regarding the development of "Glass material" for PEM fuel cells announced by the the Nagoya Institute of Technology... My broker contacted Ballard yesterday about the announcement and was told by Ballard that they are familiar with the technology and were not concerned in the least about it. They indicated that in order to work, the glass material needs to be very thin, breaks easily and as a result is very hard to handle. Ballard indicated that they are aware of all the technologies out there and consider theirs to be the best and most advanced at this time. This of course is not news as the industry continually refers to Ballard as being 3 to 5 years ahead of everybody else. I think we will see a fairly quick recovery from the current market dip.
