Another Press release between Edify and Visa Interactive (who is now owned by CheckFree):

Edify Corporation and Visa Interactive will coordinate to
market and promote Edify Web banking solutions to
Visa member banks worldwide

SANTA CLARA, CA, May 13, 1996--Edify Corporation today issued a
press release announcing its selection by Visa Interactive as a new Web
Banking Program member. Highlights of the announcement:

Edify Corporation and Visa Interactive will coordinate to market and
promote Edify web banking solutions to Visa member banks worldwide.
These web banking solutions will include comprehensive bill payment
services that link electronically via Edify's Electronic Workforce software
to Visa Interactive.

"We are pleased to receive this endorsement by Visa Interactive of our web
banking technology," said William A. Soward, director, applications
products, Edify Corporation. "Visa's reputation for reliability and security is
unmatched in the industry. With their assistance, we look forward to
offering member banks and financial institutions the most comprehensive,
secure web banking solution available."

"The web is emerging as a strategic new channel for banks to deliver home
banking and bill payment services," said Brent Robinson, senior vice
president of Visa Interactive. "We selected Edify for web banking because
they offer our member banks a comprehensive, bank branded solution that
can be quickly and cost-effectively deployed."

Edify's Electronic Workforce is designed to provide financial institutions
with a fully integrated service delivery software platform that can be easily
leveraged to deliver complete, automated financial services through the web,
telephone and personal financial managers. Additionally, Edify's visual,
object-oriented customization tools help accelerate application development,
offering financial institutions significant time to market advantages.

Visa will incorporate the Electronic Workforce into the solution set
marketed by Visa. The parties have also agreed to work together to develop
streamlined offerings that provide banks with turn-key product solutions and
pre-negotiated contract terms and prices.

Edify will connect to Visa Interactive processing centers via the Access
Device Messaging Standard (ADMS) bill payment interface. Edify also
plans to implement ADMS extensions that will tie into the VISA ePay
system. Edify's support for e-Pay will allow consumers to electronically
connect through their financial institutions to billing organizations and view
and pay bills as part of a single transaction.
