Wade, I don't know who Mr. Khan is - and I'd like to know because his name turned up here as a ZITL touter. I know nothing else.

The dealings I refer to were listed by L. Rublin in her first column that made mention of ZITL. I'm glad you found her account accurate. To me the innuendo was unmistakeable. I agree, Barron's likes to do this sort of thing. But the idea of the chap from Gartner promoting ZITL and then moving in to work for them was a bit strange. Same with the Stewart tout.

And since you bring up the question of P/E, can you give some idea about the wins that ZITL is looking for and what sort of forward looking P/E we're talking about? This is a serious question.

The latest survey done by IDC gives a rather different picture of Y2K requirements from those propagated by Emerald Research and the Stewart newsletter - or perhaps you could correct me on this. I suspect most departments are going to meet the Y2K fix from existing budgets.
