Folks....just want to share my DD with you guys. It's the least thing I can do for all the info you have given me.
Clue # One (Press Release March 13, 1998)

'We're excited about this launch in Europe of Digitcom's international long distance network,'' said Jimmy Chin, Digitcom CEO. ''We're looking for this profitable relationship with Louis International to open other doors for Digitcom's telephone and Internet communications services.''
This release gave us leverage to go on the bargaining table with Indonesia.ÿ Indonesia at that time was only concentrating in the asian market and have not been able to get into the European market.
Clue # Two (Press Release March 27, 1998)

''Acquiring Primedia ArmoEkadata will provide the most rapid extension of our Digital Long Distance Corporation subsidiary's telecom services within Indonesia,'' observed Digitcom CEO Jimmy Chin. ''Plus it provides the network infrastructure and access to implement plans on the drawing board with our joint venture partner, Indosat, for the delivery of IP long distance services between North America and points throughout Indonesia.''
A big drawing board I might add.ÿ By letting us own an Internet service providerÿ in Indonesia, it gave us credibitly.ÿ Now the BIG DOOR opened up for us.ÿ Partnership comes the sharing of resources.ÿ You scratch my back I'll scratch yours.
Next are pieces of the puzzle and also to show Indonesia we have more goodies in our bag.ÿ Bear in mind that the timing of these press releases and howÿ exactly it happened might not be in the same order.ÿ It's all part of the strategy.

Clue # Three (Press Release May 1, 1998)
May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Digitcom Corporation (OTC Bulletin board: DGIV - news) announced today its signing of a letter of intent to acquire PT. Erakomindo Puranusa of Jakarta, Indonesia, in a combined cash and stock deal. Erakomindo is a telephone company serving Jakarta customers with central office facilities and 60,000 lines. Erakomindo's key management will remain in place under terms of the agreement.
''This acquisition will provide Digitcom with central office and network assets and immediate revenues from our presence in Indonesia,'' said Jimmy Chin, Digitcom CEO.
Erakomindo Puranusa owns telephone central office switching facilities and networks of 35,000 lines and 25,000 lines in the capital city. The facility is managed by, and carries traffic for PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom), Indonesia's largest domestic telecommunications company. Contracts with Telkom guarantee a baseline of revenue for ten years, with the possibility of increased traffic revenue in the contract periods.
This is very important.ÿ This to me is the clear signal that we have arrived.ÿ Owning a telecom company in Indonesia is not a small task.ÿ These gives us more credibility.ÿ We are now a serious company to be reckon with.ÿ To understand the significance of this one has to look back in the past and see what we can learn.
>From the Indonesian Summint in 1996 I've taken these excerpts:
indosat.co.id
Indonesia will continue to actively pursue multilateral trade and investment liberalization through open regional groupings such as the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation(APEC) forum and the Asia-Europe Meeting. The facilitation and liberalization of trade and investment will reduce trade barriers that have long-obstructed Indonesian efforts to increase exports to some of industrialized countries. Indonesia will serve as an efficient production site forthose who want to enter the huge and promising ASEAN, APEC, and also global market. The fact that Indonesia's total trade withall other ASEAN countries and most APEC economies has long been in favor of Indonesia should ensure the advantage of using Indonesia as a GATEWAY to enter ASEAN, APEC, and the global market. Mr. Sanyoto Sastrowardoyo,Minister for Investment,Republic of Indonesia.
Like I said earlier, the doors were opened for us.ÿ Here's what Mr. Chin is looking at when the door was opened.
