**Personal feelings on the conference call**

I wasn't too impressed with Par and John's answers to most of the questions asked. Always "....we're in a blackout period...." And for them to say that there are no qualified industry executives available to tap for the CEO spot is laughable. My impression is they really aren't trying to find one. Par must really have his thumb on this BOD. Much smaller companies with "promise" seem to land the big fish, why can't FIBR.

I am still committed to giving FIBR to the end of '98 to show signs of a turnaround. If on August 27th (next CC) we hear the same crap, 1/3 of my position will be liquidated. Same goes for 3rd quarter CC. And IMO, no patents will keep the wolves at bay. The LUs & CIENs of the world will eat their lunch eventually, IF Osicom doesn't get off the pot and soon.

The clock is tickin' Par.
