HEADER: RE: Dissenting views Hello, Tim.P (lurker), could U respond to the dissenting message by Maakamil, written by this friend? In my mind, his friend is way too "generic" in making his conclusion. I wish he could argue point to point with ME press release, and come out with an answer why ME with 200M current asset and incoming acqusition only worth 70cents. Also, Maakamil, could u ask your friend (if he is willing) to get into a detailed analysis to above arguement. Bottom line, let the arguement go point to point. NO generic in drawing the conclusions.
1) IF he think ME CEO and others are just a bunch of old olimen, he needs to call, and tell us why he thinks so?
2) If he think ME property evalulated by independent firm is not reliable, present an argument why the group doing this evalualtion is not reliable (evidence)
3)If he think the fundamentals here is just for a quick run..ask him to present an arguement why the fundamentals is only for that?
4)Could he also provide an example where there are some successful coal and gas co. in West Virginia? and ask why they are successful?
5)The press release is generic, in a sense it is for general public. I bet these MEers will not have problems in answering his questions. The fact is that he did not talk to them, and make his conclusion.
I believe his dissenting view is not backed by substance. It will be very useful to us, including dissenting views on ME, if these views are backed up by fact and evdience. This is very important DD. good for individuals to make their own judgement. Even people buying msft and dell have dissenting views..which we understand, as long as the views are backed by detailed substance and analysis
Hope my analysis on the dissenting views help further arguements..and am waiting for that from your friends.
Well, well..If U are worried about ME, SELL.and SELL. the price can only be supported by strong investors. If we are here for a quick run, we should have left last week, but we are still here..(this is FACT)
