Allen, Looking through the list of vendors announcing I2O support at Comdex shows at least five specific mentions of the i960RP. The vendors mentioned: Distributed Processing Technology Micronics Computers, Inc SuperMicro TMC V3 I had already heard that TMC was going to be using the i960RP. Regarding these other vendors: is it new info that they are using the i960? Also, there were numerous other vendors listed which announced I2O support, including some biggies (Compaq, Dell, DEC, HP). Is there any chance these ones make use of the i960 as well? Certainly would be nice for WIND if they did . . . although even if they don't, I think having all the heavyweights behind I2O bodes well for the initiative in general, and therefore WIND down the road.
