TRW's record in fingerprint biometrics . . .

They have the UK Home Office deal . . . the Ohio AFIS (with IDX) . . . a so far flubbed Jamacai electoral register tenprint/voter ID contract (with no livescan subcontractor) . . . a deal announced with Veridicom for uses of their chips . . . and intentions to apply finger-ID to car locks by the year 2000.

For a big company, they haven't gotten too far. The UK deal is their biggest. In no deal have they shown a capacity for livescan themselves.
