John: Since you've been following BAY for sometime now, what's your read on the following press release regarding BAY's completion of the Penril Data Comm. acquistion. They are expected to take 2nd Qtr. charge close to the purchase price of $124MM. biz.yahoo.com Obviously, this should come as no surprise to the street and has been factored into the price (I certainly hope). How should we interpret today's 1.5 point gain? A positive reaction to the deals consummation, something totally unrelated, or what? Any idea on how the street will perceive BAY tomorrow AM, in light of this news? Regards, Jack
