If I was going to purchase such a tool, I would perceive "very high precision" as a definite positive. I would not care whether the tool was "very difficult to manufacture," except to the extent that the "difficulty" impacts the tool's price and availability. However, I would not like the idea of purchasing a tool that is difficult to "test, debug, and install in production," since delays in these activities could negatively impact my total system installation schedule, the amount of effort required by my staff, and my overall project cost.
Do the difficulties you mention make purchase of the Ultrabeam V2000 too much of a gamble?
