Mutual funds on a credit card! A person could simultaneously charge purchases to a straight fund and a contrarian fund, then collect profits on the winner and refuse payment on the loser. I think this would be a civil and not a criminal matter. With enough cards you could keep this going for at least a few weeks. Actually it would probably be more profitable to run up the biggest possible balances and hide cash in mason jars in the back yard.
