Terrence, I did not say Gates wanted to control the Internet. Perhaps you have a reading comprehension problem!!! I said I believe he wants to control ACCESS to the Internet, which is different.

Can you tell me why Microsoft must control the first screen that comes up when you turn on your computer? The company is being well compensated for providing an operating system. There is no logical reason that the computer company which has purchased the operating system should not control the first screen, is there? This in itself suggests a desire to control access to the Internet.
