It could be - but there would have to be some pretty serious dollars at work that are risk-tolerant. My concern is that there has been a paradigm shift in the intrinsic valuation of Qwest, perhaps due to the controversy surrounding their recent alliances. There is also an amazing lack of activity in LCI call options. For example, there June calls have an open interest of over 10,000 contracts, yet only 10 contracts traded today. Bottom line: I don't have a clue, so I'm just standing pat until the dust settles a bit.
