As my good deed for the day, may I suggest that you switch to the Unix or Linux operating system. Unix and Linux are infinitely versatile and flexible and will allow you full and diverse internet access. What's more, you need never again see the Windows interface or even the MS-DOS C:\ prompt. Poof! End of Mr. Gates and the threat of his controlling your access to the Internet.
