I'll tell you what, I am getting pretty disgusted about this.

INTEL announced this after the close, but this story was on the news services 3 hours before close, so the semi's were already getting killed. The story is that intel leaked the info to oem's all week-- pretty obvious that they did since the semi's got killed all week, and the fact they leaked the story to the news services. Hurlcrap was probably told the previous week.

Why would intel do this? I am stunned that they continue to treat investors so badly. The smaller investors are the last to know. They warn analysts, who tell the institutions, who sell semis and equips. It is sickeneing.
