Forest. I agree, we've hit bottom. Now is the time to buy. I personally could not believe how well the stock performed today. Yes, it went to 18› at one point (makes me feel better about my prediction) but to hold at 21› with 900,000 shares, I'm impressed.
I will buy more on Monday.
I don't know what bad news there is yet to come that has not already been taken into account. The only thing could be the 1997 EPS audited number is something less than 10.85›, and that is so long ago now, I'm not sure that the impact would be that great. We have many more outstanding shares now and the company is a different animal.
Only place to go is up, now the question is how quickly and to what level.
Assuming:
1. We can get audited numbers for 1997 posted within two weeks and the EPS at, or above 10.85›.
2. We attract a top flight CFO within 30 days, who gets the investor relations nightmare under control and starts to put in the accounting systems we need (this is pure conjecture on my part that we need them).
3. There are meaningful conclusions on taking 20 or so million shares off the table, again within 30 days,
I don't see $1.00 being an unreasonable target in the next 60 days.
If we can keep the ship going in the right direction for a couple of solid quarters of growth with no more "screw ups", we could be on track for $1.50 - $2.00 by the end of the year.
Have definitely convinced myself that buying on Monday is high on the list of priorities.
Everybody have a great week-end.
