Not that you asked me, but I think this is bad for Dell in that all the high flying bluechip techs are broadly owned by funds/institutions, and their profitabilities are inter-related. Panic in one will cause others to follow suit. This appears to have begun already. The growth of these stock prices the last 2 years (MSFT, INTC, DELL, LU, etc.) has been particularly and ridiculously phenominal. Japan's market was flying high in the 80's, and look at it now. Perhaps its time to get out of this market and get into Japan soon. Good luck. I am selling my shares Monday, on the first pop after it opens gapped down. I am sure it will recover the end of the year--but from what low, who knows--and who needs to watch their money shrink or lie dead for several months. I am a short term investor, thus this opinion. Long term is most likely fine. This IS Intel, after all!!!
