Yes Steve Jobs was working for Apple basically for free in the past year. That is why Apple approved 17M shares option for executive management --- Steve Jobs. He is rewarded in that way.

Steve is a great salesman. I personally don't think his vision is right about this industry. Apple is just not competing effectively with Microsoft/Intel/Compaq/Dell camp. It is obvious Apple is not a match to that camp. One big PC manufacturer announced $700 PC today. It is coming faster than we expected. Intel is feeling the pressure and will cut price dramatically soon... Apple will feel pressure soon. I personally still believe MAC will be phased out gradually, Like VHS gained momentum and Beta had no reason to exist. The only difference is computer is more complicated, it is hard to switch, so it will take longer time.

Just my personal opinion, I respect whatever you think about Apple's future. We will know in 2-3 years.

Technically AAPL is building the right shoulder, today's close is lower than the previous short term low 26.69 The chart looks bad short term.
