V.I. ????? prep or post-high school? The reason I ask is the fellow I referenced previously also went to the same school as Anwar. In fact one of the anecdotal stories he told me was in reference to the "old boys" reunion last year I believe.

Anwar attended, even accepted the usual 'friars roasting' good naturedly. However, before he agreed to attend the organizers had to agree the NO alcohol be served, even at the outside bar. Seems the Bumi's in attendance, no matter how strictly they followed the rules, had always turned a blind eye to 'social' consumption but not him.

I assume since this was a post secondary school most of the alumni are reasonably high up in the structure and can wield considerable amounts of influence. Seems like a major phoo pa on his part not to allow standard practices to continue in the spirit of community.
