Am I right to think that there is an important distinction between what Bernard Schwartz did, regarding donations to the Prez, and what Loral did? The news commentators insist on talking about "Loral's donations". I mean, he doesn't make for much of a greedy, devious traitor if he pays hundreds of thousands of his own personal dollars to to try and buy political favors for a company that is owned by thousands of other people - mostly strangers.
