<DELURK> Someone also made the remark previously about the bad state of Japan and other Asian countries. Its hard to separate fact from hype especially when the source of news are the newspaper and TV reporters. I have been in Japan for over 5 years now and although you hear people talk about the "Bubble" days when money flowed so freely there is still a lot of money around. The economy is hurting a little but not nearly to the degree you would think after reading the papers. The changes that have happen around the world with deregulation and are now starting to happen in Japan will cause some disruption to the ecomony here. Japanese are basically cautious people but when they have determined it is OK to make the step forward they will make it in unison. It is happening now in a big way here with the Internet/Intranet. Japan will bounce back and quite soon. BTW, thanks to everybody and the great DGIV and ICVI threads. I have learnt lots and am still learning. Made some cash as well ;-) Long and strong in Japan. </DELURK>
