James, One thing that catches my eye at protests and rallies are the quality of the signs that are being held up and waved around.

EG: I saw one long banner being held up in favour of the pakistani nuke tests that was obviously proffesionally made. Here for the most part are people who can't hardly afford a magic marker and bristol board.

This is very similar to the thinking of how can guys who can't afford to eat suddenly show up in news clips armed to the teeth in camoflauge garb and driving military hardware?

My wife recently was involved in a protest to save our Canada Geese,, her sign was made from bristol board attached to a fan rake with black magic marker wruting..

This to me represents some legitamacy.
