I think, based on measures taken by the management, Oxford will break even in the 12/98 quarter and optimistically may be sooner. This prospect should push the stock price upward. New York Times carried in article about trend towards capitation fees. Oxford has declared its intentions to pursue capitation with its providers. Capitation transfers the risk to providers from the insurer. This will help analysts to forecast earnings estimates with greater confidence.

Painne Webber has raised its earnings estimates on Oxford. 6/98 quarter -.51 to -.39, 9/98 quarter -.39 to -.27, etc. IMHO, Oxford will beat these estimates.

Oxford is a low risk investments at these prices. I hope Raptor is not shorting it now. He will probably be better off shorting the market than Oxford. JMO.
