Dr. Vee, I think he should be called Dr. Andy or Dr. Raggedy Andy. -g- Merced now will not come out until mid-2000, if then. The fact that it is a Big Nothing may have something to do with that decision. I agree that upgrading is vital. That is why over 60 pct. of American business pcs are still 486s, and nobody seems to notice the difference. Cramer got my goat on Wed also. He declared that only large caps made any sense and that you were stupid if you didn't index. If everyone followed his advice, he would no longer have a job. -g- Who needs a stock tout when they are indexed? Anyway, I don't care if he has a job or not, but I know he is wrong. In the next bear market, indexers will die. MB
