Well I think basically Newbridge is in a product transition and I don't think Frame relay will be the future solution. I could be wrong but I don't think Frame relay will be that great this quarter either.I sure hope that I'm wrong. ATM will have to carry them into the future. Here is a article were they are cutting out Frame relay. JetForm Reaps Big Savings Via VPN pubs.cmpnet.com But at least in one instance, a VPN is outperforming frame relay, both technically and economically. --- The bottom line is that the carriers want high speed, quality of service, versatile (voice data video) and the cheapest possible solution. Their is no product that I know of that can meet all of these requirements. I like ATM because it comes the closest to meeting all of these requirements. The carriers don't move that quick to change technology because of the cost. They will only move when the competition makes them and or customer demands. So usually the product transition takes time.
