John,

The main advantage I see Dell having over the competition is the CEO himself. I have bought and sold Dell several times...every time I thought it had topped and I sold I ended up buying back in at an even higher price.

Although I don't see Michael Dell as a god I do believe he has a special vision of his companies future. Right now he has everything hitting on all cylinders..but realizes the growth in its current market will not go on forever. Rather than buying out other products and services closely related to his, I THINK he is planning several steps ahead and will surprise everyone when de decides what product/service DELL computers will migrate to. I doubt he will ever abandon the cornerstone of his company, but I do BELIEVE he will
support it with a cast of players that will be capable of growth similar to what his original product delivered.

Again...this is just my humble opinion, and all that being said, I still believe the near long term future growth for CPQ has more potential.

T.R.
