RM,
I've shorted a couple of stocks, but I only do it on the way down.
a "momentum short". For example, on XYBR couple weeks ago I watched and waited, when the stock hit over $12 it turned and big selling started. I shorted at market ($11 3/4) watched it fall and covered
20 minutes later at $9. I don't like shorting, but on certain momentum
plays it's the easiest money in the market to make. I would NEVER short a stock BEFORE it has turned down. Too much risk for my tastes.
I only play stocks in the direction they are going. Lucky either has "Big money" or Big balls, either way I wish him luck, but my money is betting the oposite direction.
Long time DGIVer,
Hraka
