Hi Tony. Thanks for your reply and the post to Stock Man. I still have not been able to go to the main thread.

Yes, I do go along with your musings on that Merced deal. I can't say that I am too disturbed about that delay but have to say that I am at least very surprised. I am not an Engineer but do know that things like this happen all the time. When you work in the medical field you learn patience when it comes to delays in products. gg. My surprise comes from not being used to Intel faltering when it comes to product dates. They have been very consistent with those and they were pretty sure on this Merced date. Hm, I thought Merced was supposed to come out in mid 99 so mid 2000 would be a 1 year delay. I better look this up again. I think we will have some interesting times ahead with Intel. At least your wife's stock is not doing this yo yo bit quite as much. gg.

I just checked on Intel's news and it only said 1999. I will look further but Intel is down playing this event. But it cost me plenty. HWP and Intc took a nice hit. I am sure everybody read this article but I post it anyway:

Talking about the year 2000. I wonder how we will be writing all this. gg. 98 and 99 etc. is so much faster. 2000 is so much longer. And then: 1, 2, 3 etc. or 01, 02, 03 etc. or 2001, 2002 and 2003? Maybe I have to check into my prev. life and check how I did this. I am sure I was here before. Sonki always tells us that we have many lives.

BTW. The Pacers won. Who did you root for? Indiana or Frank Sinatra's "My town Chicago"?

Have a nice weekend and I hope you had a pleasant day off yesterday despite all that rain and Intel stock going down the tube.

Sonny

P.S. I am wonering if I should post less. It looks like when I post everybody takes a break.
