JLA, the First Philanderer) has seriously damaged the perception of the office, its prestige You are right, of course. There is no cause for joy in contemplating the failure of the highest office in the land. But I confess to an uncharacteristic schadenfreude when it comes to this man. I am one of those who has a visceral dislike for him, most of it coming from the fact that he has hoodwinked so many people. And I guess he does remind me of the phoney guy in high school who everybody knew was a phoney but who snowed the girls and got what he wanted. OK, I'll admit it; it's a late manifestation of my adolescent jealousy. Jack
