OK I'll respond in order, James Sterns: Yes, there is pending litigation and any one who wants to review the case can look at at the Harris County Court House, Houston, Texas. Can't comment on prospects for the share price. The CE Mark should help if Rash can pick up some OEM work in Europe.
Greg Benfield: I was forced out of the company in two moves. 1st, I was locked out of my office as a contract consultant (I was not fired just my access to the company impossible.) 2. I continued as Chairman of The Board through November 1996 when I was not renominated to the BOD.
Larry: No pie-in-the-sky, I acceded to a President-General Manager recommended by Larry Hoffman, one of my original board members, This man had full P&L responsibility. My day to day role was product development. Yes, I was Chairman of a three-man BOD
Ray Tarke: Can we talk? I'll wager a "C" note that I have bought more ABMI on the open market than you. And if you care to look at when I signed up on SI you will find 5/29/98 as my sigh-up date.
Jeff Henken: Of courses silicone catheters have some advantages, especially IgE reaction to latex antibodies. But that's not enough. Baxter has at least 200 representatives in the field. And they cut price, bundle products, and have group buying contracts that are extremely hard to break into. If that's not enough there are three or four other low price competitors. Sam Ahn is a friend and great vascular surgeon. I think his paper IS helpful, But with just one man in the field, Sorry folks
Keven A. Im not here to promote my company, its too early. But I can tell you that the technology was originally going to be part of ABMI.
Russel: I was not hard to get along with. But I vigorously resisted and objected to the various "deals" that we are now living with before I was forced out of the company.
Ben Casey: Ah, Dr. Casey, like Mark Twain, your diagnosis is a bit premature. In Texas, a promise executed with a hand shake is still pretty sacred. To break such trust is liken to a hired hand (Rash) that runs off with your best steed. We only quit hanging them a few years ago.(aka Penzoil vs Texico) For me to say that I will give this thread an honest and truthful answer is no holier than thou hype. But you are probably right on the acidosis. Perhaps a good dose of court house Bicarb will take care of that problem.
