Francoise:

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. My son loaded Microsoft Plus and about 1/2 a day later Windows locked up and the cd-rom drive wouldn't work, then the modem wouldn't work and finally today my internet providers server was down. What a mess, but I'm finally back online.

Three years gives a lot of time for drilling and hype. It's hard telling how many massive kimberlites will be discover in Sask. in the next 3 years. I assume Monoprose or Kennecott will be one of the first to actually open a mine. I've seen film of mining diamonds from gravel beds in Africa and it doesn't seem to be that intensive of an operation. I suppose the overburden of the kimberlites presents a whole new set of problems and requires a lot more planning and drilling, as well as equipment. We have coal strip mines here and that is the mainstay of the area.

Better go catch up on all my threads that I follow -- miss a lot in 3 days. HA!

Jeff
